Queens and Crones is a podcast for women navigating the magic and mayhem of midlife, and beyond. Hosted by Cairelle Perilloux—an integrative RN and midlife maven who’s deep in the trenches herself—this show blends humor, heartfelt conversations, and a fusion of science and magic as it explores everything from relationships and self-care to finding your purpose and reclaiming your sovereignty.
Each episode centers on women’s midlife experiences and the effects on body, mind, and spirit. No topic is off-limits! Also featured are inspiring interviews with extraordinary women—authors, artists, healers, entrepreneurs, visionaries, and more—who are doing amazing, transformative things and proving that midlife is not a crisis, it’s a coronation.
If you’re ready to step mindfully into your power, embrace your inner queen, and honor the wisdom of your crone (or if you’re already there), grab your crown and join Cairelle and her guests as they share their thoughts on how to live in midlife and beyond with purpose, passion, and a whole lot of magic!
In this episode, Cairelle chats with author Tess Whitehurst about the inevitable, and sometimes chaotic, shifting that occurs for women in midlife, the evolution of our personal magic, Monica Lewinsky, bullshit societal expectations, and… flowers! Cosmo Chihuahua also makes a brief vocal appearance. Thanks for listening!

I sent this link to my daughter who, at 45, is going through a rough time mentally, brought on by a severe bout of illness. She is searching for treatment and receiving treatment, however every day is a battle. A successful professional, she is struggling now to even work. This showed up in my email immediately after another teary and frustrating conversation with her. I don’t believe in coincidences. I’m convinced it was there at that moment for a reason. I’m hoping this podcast will plant good seeds. Thank you.
