Attract more money into your life with this fun prosperity spell.
This money spell is excerpted from Magical Housekeeping: Simple Charms and Practical Tips for Creating a Harmonious Home.
This money spell will help you change your money karma and become a magnet for all forms of wealth and prosperity. It draws upon the magical energy of your stove, which symbolizes wealth and sustenance in feng shui symbolism.
Ingredients:
9 oranges
A non-plastic fruit bowl enough for 9 oranges
Gold ribbon
Green ribbon
A green candle
Ideally, you would do this ritual on the new moon, but any Thursday or Sunday when the moon is close to new and between new and full will work too.
Assemble all ingredients and center yourself. Light the candle. Hold your hands in prayer pose, close your eyes, and say:
I call on the angels of abundance.
Direct your open palms toward the oranges and ribbons, and say:
I charge these ingredients with the magnetic light of financial prosperity.
Visualize sparkly green/gold/rainbow light coming down through the top of your head, to your heart, and out your hands into the oranges and ribbons. Now, tie a bow around an orange with one piece of green ribbon and one piece of gold ribbon. Once you’ve tied, it, hold the orange in both hands and say:
I open the floodgates of abundance and welcome infinite wealth into my life now.
Place the orange in the bowl and repeat with each orange. (If any of the bows fall off, don’t worry about it – the ritual will work just as well.) When you’re finished, hold your hands in prayer pose and say:
It is done. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Blessed be. And so it is.
Place the bowl on your stove, and place the candle next to it. Let the candle burn all the way down or extinguish it and burn it again (as convenient) until it burns all the way down. It’s okay to move the oranges and candle when you use your stove, just move them back again afterwards. At the full moon or the day after, dispose of the oranges by burying them or placing them in a compost heap or yard waste bin so that they can return to the earth.
Or, in this case, it’s okay to eat the oranges – just make sure you dispose of the peels in the above-mentioned way. (If you do eat them, you’ll be internalizing the magic, which will likely be verrrry interesting in a probably pleasant yet unpredictable way.)
Tie the ribbons together into a charm, and hang or place in your gratitude and prosperity area or hang it on the outside of your front door, the inside doorknob of your front door, or on the wall above the inside of your front door.

Thanks for this information but I like to ask few questions to get it right firstly the full moon is in the night ?
Secondly is it just one orange that the two Robbin will be tie to or all the 9 oranges respectively and will the bowl be put on the shove to cook the oranges and what happen to the whole 9 oranges or it is just one organges that will be cooked please reply me ASAP I will like to try this with my faith
Hi there! There is no cooking involved with this at all. The oranges just sit on the stove. Don’t turn the stove on at all for the spell. You don’t have to do it on the full moon – any time while the moon is waxing, ideally on a Sunday or a Thursday. Tie ribbons on all oranges. Reread the end of the ritual to see what to do with the oranges after the spell. 🙂
Dear Tess i did the spell and am wondering if we can eat the oranges the next day as i did it in the night or we have to wait till new moon to eat and dispose the peels. And also i think i might have said ‘ I call upon the angels of abundance’ instead of ‘I open the floodgate of abundance..’ while tying the ribbons a couple of times but rectified it as soon as i realised what i was saying and carried on. Will that affect the working of the spell in any way or should I try it again later?
Hi Monica. If you feel good and confident about the spell, it will be powerful no matter when you eat the oranges or which thing you said in the chant. Intention and feeling are the most important aspects.
Hi if I burn the candle all the way down on the first day do I still keep the burnt candle side the oranges until full moon

Hi! I keep coming across your site in my research. I am completely new, and i finally got the determination to try a spell, and this was it! Im a little worried…i had a hard time getting the ribbons to stay still, they kept sliding off and i tried not to lose my momentum and focus, but im not sure haha. Angie, glad the site is helpful! There’s no telling exactly how long abundance spells take. Sometimes they’re instant. Sometimes they inspire motivation to open up new revenue streams which can draw abundance over time. Sometimes there are unexpected windfalls. And sometimes there’s even a call to look more deeply at abundance/prosperity beliefs in order to heal them. It depends on the person and situation.
I really didn’t got the idea.. Do we have to burn the oranges on the stove..? And that too with the ribbons on! Them. Or did i miss some step in between.
