Get clear on where you’ve been, how far you’ve come, and how to make the most of Saturday’s powerful full moon.
On Saturday, October 28th, 2023, a lunar eclipse coincides with the Taurus full moon.
Lunar eclipses come with many gifts: they help us get clear on our feelings, shine light into the shadows, and let go of old patterns for good.
With this lunar eclipse, we are particularly looking at how we’ve learned and evolved over the past two years.
This tarot spread is inspired by (but not identical to) one of my all-time favorites: the horseshoe spread from The Witches Tarot by Ellen Dugan.

On the morning, day, or evening of the full moon / eclipse, sit comfortably. Perhaps light a candle and some incense. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Relax your body and center your mind.
While holding your tarot deck in both hands, call on the Divine in any way that feels right to you. Silently or aloud, say or think something like, “Thank you for giving me clear and helpful insight into how I’ve healed and evolved since November 2021. Thank you for revealing what it will be most helpful for me to know.”
Shuffle your deck in any way and for any length of time. Cut the deck once, twice, or three times. Then remove the top seven cards, arranging them from left to right, as pictured above.
Card One: Where You Started
In November of 2021, what was going on with you? What challenges were you looking at? How were you feeling the tug to learn, grow, heal, or improve?
Card Two: How You Evolved
Over the last two years, how have you changed for the better? What feelings shaped you, and what did they have to teach? How did your most painful challenges carve greater wisdom into your being?

Now that you’ve completed the narrative arc of these past two years, who are you now? Where do you stand, and what does the view look like from here?

Rejoice, for you are now speeding away from old patterns that no longer serve. Here are the ruts you’ve busted out of and the tired old programming that is now in your rearview mirror, quickly fading from view.

All things considered, here’s where you have arrived and what to expect moving forward. Congratulations. You’ve shown up for this cycle and made it through.
You won’t see the whole journey: you never will. Don’t rush anything. Connect with the earth, integrate the lessons you’ve learned, and breathe into the wisdom you received.
When you remember to meditate, connect with nature, and consult with the Divine, you’ll know what you need to know when you need to know it. Consciously, intentionally synchronize with divine timing so you can rest when it’s time to rest and act when it’s time to act.

A strange thing happened recently. The days leading up, my husband’s work place , his boss had a neighbor with flea infestation. Now we are battling the fleas in our carpeted home and 2 cats! We are intensively cleaning, vacuuming, flea combing cats, using diatomaceous earth powder, flea meds. It’s been a major project for my husband, who never believes in cleaning and clearing. I did a card and oracle and pendulum reading high up in the divine and the intuitive message was surprising. I asked about why he got bitten but why I didn’t even get one flea bite. The answer was that he needed to go through this for his clearing. My husband is a regular non woo-woo dude, who has no interest in spiritual stuff. The reading showed that I was in a self imposed isolation and it limited me. The reading was a little disappointing, showing me all my weaknesses and inadequacies. But the cards repeatedly showed success and achievement of goals despite my lack of support and connections. It showed an uphill battle and frustration. I felt like the flea thing symbolized this. Despite all this, my readings and visions have been spot .
Redhen, my reading also showed honestly where there was discord. It was definitely a shining-light-in-the-shadows type thing.

I have spent the last 2 years in a personal development coaching program, serving people, when that is not my Truth at all. I am here to help horses, I have done my whole life. It used to be that others told me stick to horses, don’t work with people, and I used to say there are plenty of people helping people. I still say that now, but now I choose not to work with people because Horse is my Truth.
I started this cycle trying to prove I was good enough by slaving away for people. I ended this and now I follow my Heart, and funnily enough, card 7 has a huge horse head on it 🤣
