Activate positive conditions in every life area with these powerful feng shui secrets for getting in the flow.
Feng shui is named after things that flow: it literally translates to wind / water.
It acts on the principle that everything is connected: by creating a harmonious flow of energy in your home environment, you set in motion a harmonious flow of energy in your life.
Imagine a clear, sparkling stream nourishing every plant, animal, landscape, and ecosystem in its wake. That’s good feng shui.
These 12 feng shui tips will help bring blessings and breakthroughs to every area of your life.
Doing all of them at once may shift too much energy and could feel a little overwhelming. Instead, if you want to do them all, choose one each month for the next year.
Feng Shui Cure #1: Hang Wind Chimes Near Your Front Door
Your front door is the point where Universal energy enters your life and becomes uniquely yours. Hanging a wind chime purifies and blesses this energy while uplifting the spirits of all who enter your home. Wind chimes are popular in feng shui because they represent using the unseen energies (such as wind) to create beauty and harmony.
Feng Shui Cure #2: Do the Red Cloth Cure
The red cloth cure works on the principle that when you empower your bed with positive energy and intention, you will absorb that energy while you sleep. To do it, remove your mattress from your box spring. Spread a bright red, cotton cloth over your box spring. (It can be slightly smaller than the surface of your box spring, but shouldn’t be larger.) Now, set a very clear intention related to success. For example, “I have a job I adore,” or “I make over $____ per month.” Relax, breathe, and direct your palms toward the cloth. Feel that your intention is already absolutely, 100% true. Feel gratitude and all the other wonderful feelings that go along with your intention being true. State your intention aloud 9 times, as you mentally send the energy and emotion of your intention toward the cloth. Then replace your mattress, sandwiching the cloth between the mattress and box spring.
Feng Shui Cure #3: Replace Your Doormat
As mentioned above, feng shui considers your front door to be extra important for drawing blessings into your life. When your old doormat has seen better days, get a new one to welcome in positivity, luck, and happy vibrations.
Feng Shui Cure #4: Paint Your Front Door
Speaking of your front door: paint it! Not only is it a super easy and quick way to change your home’s look, it’s also a potent way to magnetize blessings. Basic feng shui door colors are bright red and navy blue, but green, teal, black, pink, and purple will also drum up positive vibes. So choose a vibrant color that speaks to you. (For ideas, Here’s a post about magical colors to paint your door!)
Feng Shui Cure #5: Get a New Wallet or Handbag
If you already have a wallet or handbag that makes you feel rich, there’s no need to get a new one. But if you don’t, this single act is intensely powerful feng shui for attracting money. While high quality purses and wallets can be more expensive, they usually last much longer than their cheaper counterparts. And by enhancing your feeling of affluence, they leverage the law of attraction to draw more money into your life. In more ways than one, a high quality money holder is a wise investment.
Feng Shui Cure #6: Wash Your Floors with Vinegar and Water
Sometimes the simplest feng shui cures are the best. After sweeping or vacuuming all your hard floors, pour a half cup or so of white vinegar in a bucket and add about a gallon of hot tap water. Use a mop or a clean rag to wipe down your floors. As you do so, feel that you are removing stuck energy and clearing the way for blessings to flow.
Feng Shui Cure #7: Get a Jade Plant
Lush, succulent jade plants are popular in feng shui because they draw wealth, health, and happiness. Bring one (or more) into your home and care for it lovingly to experience these benefits. Just make sure to keep it out of reach of any furry family members.
Feng Shui Cure #8: Hang a Rainbow Crystal in a Sunny Window
As if a shimmering spray of dancing rainbows weren’t enough, hanging a feng shui crystal in a sunny window will also draw inspiration, magic, and miracles into your life.
Feng Shui Cure #9: Turn on All the Faucets
Just for a quick minute – we don’t want you to waste water, after all – get all the faucets and spigots in your home flowing at once. Then turn them all off. This will get stuck energy moving and activate a positive flow. (Also remember the feng shui rule: no leaky faucets! Get all plumbing problems fixed ASAP to retain your resources and prevent your money from “leaking.”)
Feng Shui Cure #10: Wash All the Doors
You will be surprised by how fresh everything will feel after you wash every single door in your home: inside and out. Add a few drops of essential oil of spearmint or sage to a bucket of warm water and give every door a good wash. In feng shui, doors are a symbolize opportunities, breakthroughs, and positive change. Purifying your doors in this way will open up all sorts of wonderful possibilities in your life.
Feng Shui Cure #11: Wash All the Windows
In feng shui, windows represent your perspective on the world. Washing every window in your home until it sparkles will give you a fresh, new, sparkling perspective on every aspect of your life. This will get good energy flowing and set happy changes in motion.
Feng Shui Cure #12: Turn on All the Lights
Of course, we rarely (if ever) have a practical reason to turn on every light in the house. But for just a moment (again, we don’t want to be wasteful), turn on every single light in your home. Remember everything: lights in closets, lamps in guest rooms, outdoor lights, stove lights, and lights in the garage. Don’t leave out a single bulb. This will bring illumination and clarity to all the dark corners of your mind and life, which will help you shift your energy quickly and for the better.
When you want to attract blessings and manifest breakthroughs, feng shui is your friend. Always remember: you have the power to create the conditions you desire.

Paula says
7 years ago I had a new deck built only to find out, last year, that the foundation was in very bad condition. I had the foundation rebuilt and new deck boards put on. Now the new deck boards are shrinking and warping which means it has to be torn up and the boards replaced.
I need a blessing to ensure that the replacement project will result in a long lasting, beautiful and sound deck.
Thank you so much for any advice or guidance you can give!
