Purify yourself of negative energy and empower yourself to move forward in your life with these 5 simple rituals for cleansing, clearing, and unblocking.
If you’re a little under the energetic weather, you want to get someone’s energy out of your field, or you just need to get your energy clear, these rituals can help.

Remember: don’t panic. Never panic. Take a deep breath. Then take another one, and remember that you are the power in your own life. You absolutely have the ability to shift your own energy for the better.
Unblocker #1: The Lemon Cure
For the Lemon Cure, on the morning of a full moon, rise between sunrise and one hour after sunrise. Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle the top of each half with sea salt. Sweep your aura with one half and then the other half (sort of like you’re using an energetic lint brush about 6-12 inches away from your skin) and then place both halves face up on your altar. The next morning, again between sunrise and an hour after sunrise, discard the halves in a yard waste, trash, or compost bin. Then repeat the entire process with a new lemon. Repeat for 12 days straight to break any curse or hex.
Unblocker #2: The Saltwater Cure
If you feel intuitively drawn to the Saltwater Cure, draw a warm or hot bath. Add 1 cup epsom salt, 1 cup sea salt, and 1/4 cup baking soda and dissolve by stirring the water in a counterclockwise direction. Before you enter the water, hold your hands in prayer pose and say, “Divine Spirit, thank you for filling this water with vibrations of healing, purification, and love.” Visualize the water as filled and surrounded with blindingly bright white light. Then get in and soak for at least 40 minutes. Feel and sense that all negative or stuck energy is being broken by being neutralized and dissolved as you soak. And stay hydrated as you soak: be sure to have plenty of drinking water on hand.
Hex or Curse Breaker #3: The Angel Cure
Enlist angels to cleanse and unblock your energy with the Angel Cure. First, obtain a celestite crystal. Cleanse it by placing it in bright sunlight for 5-10 minutes. Hold it in both hands near your heart as you center your mind. Then say:
Archangel Michael, I call on you. Thank you for powerfully clearing and purifying me of any and all stuck or challenging energies. Archangel Haniel, I call on you. Thank you for attuning me to the frequencies of purity, harmony, and peace. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Blessed be. And so it is.
Keep the crystal with you for one full moon cycle to help dissipate all old or stuck energy completely. Purify it in the light of the sun every few days.
Unblocker #4: The Selenite and White Sage Cure
Selenite crystals and white sage are both powerful detoxifiers and can help clear old energetic patterns or vibrational debris related to personal or generational challenges. Using a selenite wand, sweep your energy field downward and outward, about 6-12 inches away from your skin. Then light a sage bundle so that it’s smoking like incense and thoroughly bathe your aura in the smoke by waving the sage around the around the outside of your body, again 6-12 inches away from your skin. Be very careful to catch any burning embers with a dish or a plate. Then safely extinguish the sage by sealing it in a jar.
Unblocker #5: The Rose Overdose Cure
Roses can help cleanse and unblock your energy because they have among the highest and purest vibrations of any living thing. For the Rose Overdose cure, draw a warm bath. Add 1/4 cup rose water and the petals from 12 white roses. Soak for at least 40 minutes. After you dry off, put 4 drops of rose flower essence under your tongue. (Please note that flower essences are very different than essential oils, as they are safe to take internally. In case you’re not familiar with the difference, here is an example of a rose flower essence.) Put another 4 drops under your tongue just before bed. Every day for the next 28 days, take 2 drops of rose flower essence under your tongue every morning upon waking and every evening just before going to sleep.
Not Sure Which One(s) to Choose?
Cut 5 small, equally-sized squares of paper. Now you’re going to draw simple representations of each cure. (Don’t worry if you’re not an artist – as long as you can recognize it, it’s fine.) On one, draw a lemon. On another, draw a simple wave to represent water. On the next, draw angel wings. The final two will be a leaf (to represent sage) and a rose.
Put them in a hat. Say a prayer for guidance, asking the Divine to show you which cure will most effectively unblock your energy. Without looking, use one hand to mix them around, and draw one.
Then, flip a shiny penny to see if it will be helpful for you to do an additional cure. If it’s heads, the answer is yes. If it’s tails, no. Choose up to three this way.
If you happen to choose any combination of the lemon, rose, and angel cures, do them in tandem: don’t wait a month and then start the next.
If you happen to choose both the saltwater and the rose, do the saltwater bath first. Then wait a full 24 hours before beginning the rose cure.
The selenite and white sage cure can be performed before (and on the same day as) any other cure.
Keep Calm and Stay Strong.
To bolster your energetic immunity in order to support the full release of the old energy, make sure to eat lots of healthy food, drink lots of water, and get plenty of sleep. And, as I mentioned above, it’s also a good idea to keep your energy clear and shielded with a meditation like this one.

Hey. So I think I’ve been cursed. Everything seems to break or go wrong. I generally just have pretty terrible luck, and think a woman named “Sophie” may have placed a hex or curse upon me! What should I do. WARNING! This is a strong curse, everything really seems to break. My car broke down. I have chronic strep/tonsillitis that wont go away. Im broke as shit. My phone is broke. I’m 32 and my family have had over a decade of absolute hell. Please read this: having read others on here i think you might understand that this is much more serious than most peoples concerns. I really need help I’m breaking down and I don’t know who can help us.
I broke up with a girl under 10 years ago she was Iranian and believed in mystical things. She in haunting wails I can still hear swore she put a curse on my whole family believing that they were the problem in our relationship but they were not I just fell out of love and was young and stupid to let it go that far (I was always going to move back to my home city without her it want them). My father has had enemies or bad blood with people business and family, his people are Mediterranean who definitely believe in the bad eye and throwing bad energy and curses. He is a good man at heart and lives well honestly. And then my only other girlfriend in my life since that one believes in witchcraft and I later found out that after her own personal trauma before we met had done full on rituals to call on a demon to give her power and creativity. Her career blew up after this she swears.
We had a lot of issues after she cheated on me and lied on and on getting others to help her lies and drove me nearly mad tore my heart out and dragged it through 1 year of salt and sandpaper..when things got heated and my family could see how depressed and stressed i was for months so tried to tell me to take a break.. since she has several times swore with deep seething haunting screams that shes cursing my whole family in the worst way. She has deep hate for them somewhere inside still I think. She is a good person but I think she is powerful and in her own psychological struggles, I don’t know if she stands by this or takes it back after when we make up but i can not forget the sound and determination and words of the purest hate and negativity and literally deliberate intentional hexing or cursing.. so maybe she has perhaps misused her power and become radioactively dangerous and her world has much darkness in it already so i think she built up this idea of my family in her head and vented her rage at us.
I don’t know I know very little but I have had a vision of sorts I understand now that powers exist and energies and that we can have an effect on them as they do us. And I now know that this stuff is real and powerful and I really need help I don,t know what to do.
So much has gone wrong I cannot begin to explain its been living hell one thing after the other no light; my dad got cancer and we fought and beat it and then my mum got cancer and had her ovaries removed and then we had legal problems for a financial matter that was absolutely not our doing and that took 4 years of screaming working and providing accounts necessary and lawyers etc to clear our name. Jobs I took turned out to be a scam and i got no pay after four months have had no luck since in work and my life has just been a non-start despite lots of concentrated efforts to work hard and live well and be good to others. Then I got attacked in the street and stabbed and cut on my face 7 inches and 56 stitches because i tried to tell a crazed man to stop screaming at his girlfriend. Diagnosed with PTSD I’ve been in a prison of my mind it changed me fundamentally I should have died but it scraped an artery and that meant i survived just. Ive only just started to work through that now but then this. Then I had a motorbike accident and another and a car accident and one caused internal bleeding that caused me to be rushed to resuscitation and only survived by the blood of 6 other people and a horrific recovery i wouldn’t wish on an enemy.
This may sound like I live particularly recklessly but we are a good family and we have friction no one is perfect but we are sweet good people and we are being put through this constant what next what now soulfully sad and depressed times. my mum then got cancer again and this was worse took lots of chemo and she got through it somehow and they said at least 5 years now you will be clear but its been less than two and i just found out my mum has cancer in her jaw and they need to take a chunk of her face away and reconstruct.. I just don,t understand shes a saint out of all of us shes an angel you really haven,t met anyone so selfless and strong and kind and knowing. her and her mother believed in sight and my grandmother would always know when a bad thing happened before the news came and had other visions and things she was mystical and traveled the world and said we have that in our green eyed blood line (those of us that have green eyes my gma and mom and me but not so much my brown eyed brother etc idk). My sisters business wouldn’t start one bad luck thing after another despite hard work and decency lost lots of money and tears and my brother cant get a job no matter what he tries, we have all been suicidal or had suicidal thoughts at points during this decade.
I can go on there is many examples of just true total surprise like; this is the opposite of a miracle.. please hear this and help, this isn’t some small concern this feels terrifying and about as undeniable as it gets right now.. my mum has said it several times my dad too.. we are cursed they say (not casually)..
She walked in and told me about this latest diagnosis of cancer just now and we cried a lot and she said we are cursed ten ways not just one and we have to be strong now and I might have to take care of my dad and family.. im so sorry to depress ppl with this stuff but I really want your help anyone’s really.
I’m now desperately remembering my vision and that power exists and that I can affect it and I need help I have to find a way to clean this from us and help my family, someone is killing us and tearing our souls apart, please help.

Recently I received information from my older sister that my biological father had placed a curse on my mom and myself. The reason for the curse according to my father is because my mother left him, taking me with her. He is extremely religious to the point that he ignored everyone in the family for years saying that God told him to divorce the family. My mom couldn’t take the blatant neglect of my sister or I, from him anymore. At the point she left him and we moved away, my sister married the man she was currently involved with. That was 20 years ago. Ever since then, my mom and I have had just enough to survive on but we could never seem to get ahead no matter what we did. We are doing fairly well currently, though its still just on the cusp of survival and teetering towards the edge of downright poverty. Also I should point out that my sister and I do not get along. She has pretty much hated me since the day I was born and has suffered from jealousy regarding anything and everything that concerns what I do with my life. According to her I stole her spot light and all the love and affection from our parents. I was born 6 weeks early and had under developed lungs causing me to require the extra attention to remain healthy. Growing up the only parent I had a lot to do with is my mom. My father never really paid much attention to either one of us girls for as far back as I can remember and I am now 31. After reading your post, my instincts are pointed towards the Lemon, the Saltwater, the Selenite and Sage and the Rose cure. As I have recently awakened I feel it more so now than just the sense of something is not right. I have done smudging, cleansing of the home, cleansing of the self and meditating. Any suggestions would be welcome as concerning the need to make things right again.

HI Tess. I am in need of some advice. I feel that I have been under some sort of love curse since the last 2 years (and honestly maybe longer but the last 2 years have been particularly horrible.) My ex and I were not in love and he treated me poorly and neglected me in every sense of the word. So the last 2 years of our relationship were loveless and sort of devastating. Since then, I have dated or met several people who i felt i could really be in love with and after a short time (whether we sleep together or not.) they want nothing to do with me. At first they seem quite enamored but nothing sticks. They always disappear. Even people i am not that interested in take a turn and decide they don’t really want me or do something horrible out of the blue or I get ghosted. I don’t want to sound vain, but according to many people my looks are above average, I get a decent amount of attention in public and I have done modeling and. I am kind to people, I am not clingy. I am just confused. I feel like a leper and I know I can’t be that bad. All my close friends and family members are constantly baffled as to why this keeps happening to me. And so am I.

There seems to be a lot of people who believe they have been cursed or affected by a hex. I also feel that way. When I was a teenager my father told me a story about how his jealous uncle (aunt’s husband) hired a witch to curse him. My father had gone back to Arkansas to take care of some family business (We lived in California). His aunt made a fuss as if he were a movie star and her husband did not like it. The woman gave his uncle something that was to be sprinkled in his food. Luckily for my father he was running late and only sopped up some gravy and a small piece of chicken. When he returned home he became extremely ill. He could not work or anything. While walking down the street a man, a gypsy I believe told him he had been cursed. He told my father he would have to confront the uncle in spiritual form because time had passed and the uncle was now dead. my father was told to draw a pentagram on the floor in the attic , sit in a chair in the middle of the circle and perform some type of ritual which would bring forth his uncle. He was told no matter what happened not to leave the circle. i don’t really know what happened after that. He did not tell me, but he got better, married my mother and lived a fairly decent life. He told me all this because I have a psychic ability and he was warning me that there really was dark and white magic and I needed to be careful. I did not take it that seriously, although my father wasn’t a lair and he was a religious man, but he was also a mason. I say all this because I am now 72 years old and very little in my life has gone right. I am really intelligent and gifted and told I am brilliant in many ways but something always gets in my way. I wanted to be an actress and I have won rolls but did not accept them or I would get sick, I have been humiliated many times when what i did should have gone smoothly. The long and the short of it is that everything I touch seems to go wrong. I have been a healer (Reiki) but it stopped working for me. My worry now is not just about my life and ho9w to end this curse/hex. But I have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. They have all had bad luck and my grand kids seem to have mental emotional problems. 3 of them are under 9 years of age. I am sorry to go on so long but I was told I had to confront and end this before I could help my children. I don’t want to die and leave them with this evil wreaking their lives. I need help.
