Purify yourself of negative energy and empower yourself to move forward in your life with these 5 simple rituals for cleansing, clearing, and unblocking.
If you’re a little under the energetic weather, you want to get someone’s energy out of your field, or you just need to get your energy clear, these rituals can help.

Remember: don’t panic. Never panic. Take a deep breath. Then take another one, and remember that you are the power in your own life. You absolutely have the ability to shift your own energy for the better.
Unblocker #1: The Lemon Cure
For the Lemon Cure, on the morning of a full moon, rise between sunrise and one hour after sunrise. Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle the top of each half with sea salt. Sweep your aura with one half and then the other half (sort of like you’re using an energetic lint brush about 6-12 inches away from your skin) and then place both halves face up on your altar. The next morning, again between sunrise and an hour after sunrise, discard the halves in a yard waste, trash, or compost bin. Then repeat the entire process with a new lemon. Repeat for 12 days straight to break any curse or hex.
Unblocker #2: The Saltwater Cure
If you feel intuitively drawn to the Saltwater Cure, draw a warm or hot bath. Add 1 cup epsom salt, 1 cup sea salt, and 1/4 cup baking soda and dissolve by stirring the water in a counterclockwise direction. Before you enter the water, hold your hands in prayer pose and say, “Divine Spirit, thank you for filling this water with vibrations of healing, purification, and love.” Visualize the water as filled and surrounded with blindingly bright white light. Then get in and soak for at least 40 minutes. Feel and sense that all negative or stuck energy is being broken by being neutralized and dissolved as you soak. And stay hydrated as you soak: be sure to have plenty of drinking water on hand.
Hex or Curse Breaker #3: The Angel Cure
Enlist angels to cleanse and unblock your energy with the Angel Cure. First, obtain a celestite crystal. Cleanse it by placing it in bright sunlight for 5-10 minutes. Hold it in both hands near your heart as you center your mind. Then say:
Archangel Michael, I call on you. Thank you for powerfully clearing and purifying me of any and all stuck or challenging energies. Archangel Haniel, I call on you. Thank you for attuning me to the frequencies of purity, harmony, and peace. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Blessed be. And so it is.
Keep the crystal with you for one full moon cycle to help dissipate all old or stuck energy completely. Purify it in the light of the sun every few days.
Unblocker #4: The Selenite and White Sage Cure
Selenite crystals and white sage are both powerful detoxifiers and can help clear old energetic patterns or vibrational debris related to personal or generational challenges. Using a selenite wand, sweep your energy field downward and outward, about 6-12 inches away from your skin. Then light a sage bundle so that it’s smoking like incense and thoroughly bathe your aura in the smoke by waving the sage around the around the outside of your body, again 6-12 inches away from your skin. Be very careful to catch any burning embers with a dish or a plate. Then safely extinguish the sage by sealing it in a jar.
Unblocker #5: The Rose Overdose Cure
Roses can help cleanse and unblock your energy because they have among the highest and purest vibrations of any living thing. For the Rose Overdose cure, draw a warm bath. Add 1/4 cup rose water and the petals from 12 white roses. Soak for at least 40 minutes. After you dry off, put 4 drops of rose flower essence under your tongue. (Please note that flower essences are very different than essential oils, as they are safe to take internally. In case you’re not familiar with the difference, here is an example of a rose flower essence.) Put another 4 drops under your tongue just before bed. Every day for the next 28 days, take 2 drops of rose flower essence under your tongue every morning upon waking and every evening just before going to sleep.
Not Sure Which One(s) to Choose?
Cut 5 small, equally-sized squares of paper. Now you’re going to draw simple representations of each cure. (Don’t worry if you’re not an artist – as long as you can recognize it, it’s fine.) On one, draw a lemon. On another, draw a simple wave to represent water. On the next, draw angel wings. The final two will be a leaf (to represent sage) and a rose.
Put them in a hat. Say a prayer for guidance, asking the Divine to show you which cure will most effectively unblock your energy. Without looking, use one hand to mix them around, and draw one.
Then, flip a shiny penny to see if it will be helpful for you to do an additional cure. If it’s heads, the answer is yes. If it’s tails, no. Choose up to three this way.
If you happen to choose any combination of the lemon, rose, and angel cures, do them in tandem: don’t wait a month and then start the next.
If you happen to choose both the saltwater and the rose, do the saltwater bath first. Then wait a full 24 hours before beginning the rose cure.
The selenite and white sage cure can be performed before (and on the same day as) any other cure.
Keep Calm and Stay Strong.
To bolster your energetic immunity in order to support the full release of the old energy, make sure to eat lots of healthy food, drink lots of water, and get plenty of sleep. And, as I mentioned above, it’s also a good idea to keep your energy clear and shielded with a meditation like this one.

Hello! About 18 years ago I was with a man who abused me, held me against my will at a young age etc.. one day I found a little hand sewn bag on the floor w/ 2 little dolls, sewn together w/a picture of us & an old spanish curse or spell. Almost illegible and I was unable to find anyone who could translate it. I separated the dolls, threw the picture away. He later went to jail for an unrelated felonious crime. But he told me at one time, he’d haunt me in my dreams & he does to this day, OFTEN. Pls advise this has got to stop.

I have always been well attuned with things around me. I had a friend that was in trouble, so I loaned he a pendant that I usually wore for protection and safety. Not long after that my friend betrayed me and took off with my pendant. Since I have noticed everything seems off. Can do nothing compared to before this. I am not sure if I am dealing with a general curse, a love spell, or a mix. I fell in love for the very first time at 21 to a charming, funny, and handsome man. We had instant chemistry and the next thing I knew we were living together and playing house for 3 years. My intuition told me he was cheating and long story short, I was right. I immediately moved out. Right after that the strange and painful things started to happen. While moving into my new place I tripped over my new roommates dog and fell head over feet down a long set of stairs, landing with my head on a box filled with plates giving me a concussion and a body covered in bruises. Then my goldfish would just die. Id buy a new tank and fish and 48 hours later I would come home to all my fish floating on top of the tank. I felt like a shadowy person was always walking behind me. I started to go out drinking and started taking drugs. My roommate decided to walk me to my car one night with her dog. The dog took off running towards my car and a man immediately crawled out from under my car and ran off. The following week I became so ill I was sent to the hospital in great pain and needed surgery. A friend referred me to a lady who may be able to help with my ” problems”.
When I walked in to see her she said ” I see you brought a friend. a big mean shadow friend.” I couldn’t believe that what I felt standing behind me was real and visible to me. She said it was in fact my ex. He was a very sick man and felt that I had abandoned him like his mother did and wanted me back, and that he also had some of my belongings in his possession that he was using to make these things happen. She stated that he did a love spell that was designed to force me to feel vulnerable without him and safe with him, or ultimately put me into so much financial and physical ruin that i would run back to him to care for me. I took her instructions and went to our former home where he still lived. I knew he would be at work. Immediately I saw a hairbrush I left behind on accident sitting on the kitchen table , filled with my bright red hair, and next to it was a sort of collage of pictures of me. I grabbed everything in a panic and ran. He of course called me later and yelled and said vile things to me.
After burning his picture, and burying all the items and ashes in the ground all my troubles went away. He tried to contact me so many times after that but I never ever spoke with him as I had been told this would re-start the spell. Fast forward from age 24 to age 36 where I am happily married. Out of the blue I get a call from who other then the ex. He says he’s in AA and needed to apologize to me for all the cheating and abuse when we were young. I mentioned that we were so much better looking in our 20s and look old now. He then sent me a text with a picture of me from my 20s. Turns out he still had a few of my things. He started to talk to me sexually and for some reason …I went with it. Like hypnotism. It was like someone else was making me do it. I didn’t want to cheat on my husband , or send him naked pics but I was compelled. He would say things to me like ” going forward, everytime you have sex with your husband or anyone else at all, I want you to picture that you are having sex with me.” After that my libido increased a lot and sadly when I did have sex with my husband all I could see was my ex’s face and I enjoyed it. My husband found out about everything and was heart broken. I broke off contact with my ex.
Now that we are not speaking the curse like things are happening again. I immediately lost my job. I was in a car accident. I started failing my college classes. Our dog died a gruesome death, and I had a strange accident at home that caused me to be where I am writing you from right now….my bed with a propped up broken leg.
I keep having sex dreams about him every night even though I don’t want to be with him. Hes a mean alcoholic, a cocaine addict, a cheater who admits that he loves to date married ladies and then “collect them like little charms.” ick. Please advise before I lose it entirely. BTW the first time we were together in our 20s, he told me that his last girlfriend practiced “black magic” but I figured he was joking or something. However, when I met with the above mentioned lady , she told me that he was not able to do all this alone and had hired a girl he once dated to do this for him in exchange for something wanted. ugh.

Hi Tess,thanks for your interesting pages, I really enjoy,my son is married to a woman it would 9 yes,they have been apart for +-4 yrs.After leaving her things just got worst for him.I have been told that she had been to sameone to hex my son.things had really gotten that bad that my son was with out a job or a home.The thing is he seems to have changed into a different person,the woman he meets are just the worst.I now got him back living with me and he is working again.but every day is a jorney.The thing is he knows that she has cursed him,but I can’t get him to cleanse himself,what should I do,thxs so much

Hello Tess, so there’s a family that we brought to my son’s baseball team from an old team we used to play together on. Didn’t realize how negative they were until they started seeing my son advancing and improving in his athletic skills and there son wasn’t, now the family totally ignores us and emits compete negative energy towards us, well two weeks ago from today my son just completely cannot throw a baseball the way he used too it’s like he totally forgot how to throw a ball! His gameplay is not entirely too top the way it used to be all the while their son is now advancing. So we Took him to get an x-ray, to Drs, airrosity trying to see if there’s a pain in his throwing and nothing can explain what’s the problem is. He’s been playing the sport for the past 7 years and it’s like he woke up one day 2 weeks ago and just cannot perform the way he was doing. He Soo sad about it and it’s getting really frustrating trying to figure out what could be the cause of this, I feel like it could possibly be some sorta hex put on him!

Not that I’m aware of, they did buy us a small wine refrigerator as a home warming gift several months back way before any of this ever occurred when we were actually on talking terms. Other then that that’s about it.
I would get rid of the wine refrigerator and anything your son might have received from their family (even if it’s something little). I have a feeling this will help.
