Self Energy Healing Bath Ritual
Learn how to take a soothing self-healing bath that clears your energy, calms your mind, and supports emotional release.

This bath came to me intuitively, and the experience was so moving that I felt called to share it. Yes, it’s a hot, candlelit, herbal, Epsom-salt bath, but the way it works on your energy feels much more like a full session of Reiki or Craniosacral work.
It can loosen old tension, stir up stuck emotions, and help you release what’s ready to move. Sometimes that leaves you glowing; sometimes it leaves you deliciously relaxed. Either way, it’s deep healing.
Below is everything you need to try it for yourself.

What You’ll Need

- A bathtub
-
2+ clean-burning candles (herbal or aromatherapeutic if you like)
- A lighter or matches
-
A large sprig of fresh sage (a full grocery-store stem or a multi-branch 4–6″ garden cutting)
-
Plenty of drinking water (maybe even a gallon)
Set the Space

Light the candles around your tub to create a soft, soothing atmosphere.
Run a warm bath—hot if that feels good to you, but always honor your body’s comfort.
Stir in the Epsom salt clockwise with your hand.

Charge the Water

Before stepping in:
-
Stand with your spine long and feet grounded.
-
Breathe deeply.
-
Connect upward to a diamond-white Infinite light above your head, drawing it down through your crown.
-
Connect downward to golden earth energy, drawing it up through your feet.
-
Let these two lights meet at your heart.
-
Hold your palms toward the bath and direct golden-white light from your heart, down your arms, and into the water.
-
See the tub surrounded in a sphere of that light.
Say:
“Great Goddess, Great God, All That Is, thank you for blessing this water with vibrations of healing, purification, and love.”
Now charge your drinking water the same way, visualizing it in its own golden-white sphere and repeating the blessing.
Drop the sage into the bath.
Enter the Bath

Immerse yourself and let the warmth hold you.
Set aside distractions—no phone, no reading, no audio. This is a mindful soak.
Bring your awareness to your breathing. Notice your inhales and exhales. If your mind wanders, simply return to the breath.
Settle Into the Healing

As you relax, you’ll likely shift into a gentle, present, slightly altered state.
From this place:
-
Notice areas of tension or emotional charge.
-
Breathe into them with curiosity, not judgment.
-
Allow feelings and memories to surface if they want to.
-
Stay with your breath as a steady anchor.
Patterns may arise—old emotions, echoes of past experiences, or insights about the present. Let them come. Let your breath soften them.
Offer yourself compassion. If tears come, that’s simply energy moving.
Drink water whenever you’re thirsty—it supports the clearing.
Follow Your Intuition

You may receive guidance—words, images, knowing. Let it flow.
Use the sage sprig whenever you feel called. You can:
-
Brush it over your forehead
-
Sweep it around your heart or belly
-
Circle it over your solar plexus
-
“Lint-brush” old patterns from your field
Trust your instincts.

Close the Ritual

When the ritual feels complete (or when life calls you back):
-
Thank the Goddess, the God, and All That Is.
-
Drain the bath.
-
Wash your body and hair if you like.
-
Dry off, put out the candles, and care for yourself gently.
If you received insights, jot them down while they’re fresh.
P.S. If you try this ritual, come back and let me know how it went!
