Make your day (and your morning cup) way more magical in no time flat.
I was speaking with some witch friends last week, and it turns out a couple of them do quick little good vibe rituals while they’re making their coffee in the morning.
Which I think is brilliant.
I love stacking habits – like, one habit is already there, so you just stack another one on top of it.
In this case, you make your coffee or tea (which you’re doing anyway) / aaaaaand, you just go ahead and…make it magical.
Stuff like this reminds me that nothing is mundane: everything is mysterious, mystical, and filled with incredible potential. Which is sorta the whole thing with the magical spiritual path, in my opinion.
It’s magical mindfulness: remember to be here now – AND! – remember that you are magical.
Sort of like this front door ritual, a coffee ritual is an easy chant – a nothing-extra-required way to invite powerful magic into your life every single day.
Magic and Fire Chant
My friend Elizabeth says, “After I’ve stirred in my cream, I hold my hand over the cup and say ‘I am the magic, you are the fire. We fill my life with all I desire.’ “
Then, of course, when she drinks her brew, she internalizes the magic.
My Day Goes My Way Chant
My friend Anette, as she stirs, says, “I stir my coffee this way and that way to make my day go my way. Thank you Goddess.”
Again, then: as she savors her cuppa, she gets a boost that goes beyond the effect of the caffeine.
Rich Witch Chant
Ok, now how about this one.
To attract wealth in the day ahead, hold your hands over the cup (like Elizabeth), or stir your coffee (like Anette), and say, “This brew is rich and so’s this witch.”

Love ❤️ Every morning I brew different flavors of tea and coffee, set it on my blue circle tray. The cups are each unique and very beautiful and have a magical artsy quality. The cups were collected over the years, all gifts to me from loved ones who know about me well. I brew verdant matcha from Japan, rich coffee from the volcanic soil of Hawaii, wildcrafted herbal tea, English earl grey tea served with almond milk and Hawaiian Lilikoi blossom honey. Each tea, coffee corresponds to abundance of wealth, health, beauty, magic. Each cup has that uplifting feel to it. This set up is only ever used by me alone. No one else has ever even touched it. For years it has been my ritual. I sometimes change it up according to the seasons. Like eggnog latte, hot cocoa, fresh ginger-lemon peel brewed tea sweetened with honey, hand picked mango mashed into iced tea, plum blossom tea. I even have an alcohol one for evenings. 💕
