Do this fun spell when you feel stuck about how to move forward in any life area, or any time you can’t seem to find your way our of a stubborn or perplexing challenge.
This is an excerpt from my book, You Are Magical.
Have you ever stopped to think about how many possibilities for blessings there are in seeming problems? For example, if your future soul mate happens to be getting his car fixed, then getting a flat tire could be the best thing that ever happened to you. Even the most dire and heartbreaking problems have inspired world-changing inventions, perspective, and works of art.
This spell will help activate the blessing potential within a problem. Try it when you feel stuck about how to move forward in any life area, or any time you can’t seem to find your way out of a stubborn or perplexing challenge.
- An ice cube tray
- 2 teaspoons baking soda, for each problem you want to transform
- A butter knife
- A quart-size(ish) jar (or 18-ish oz. glass bottle, as pictured)
- Red and blue food coloring (or magenta and teal if you have the alternative colors)
- White vinegar
Place two teaspoons baking soda in a single cube in the ice cube tray. (Make a cube for each problem you want to transform.) Fill each cube the rest of the way with water and stir with the butter knife until somewhat dissolved. Freeze overnight.
Wake up before sunrise. (If you are not a morning person, the timing is negotiable.) As the sun is rising, place the ice cube(s) in the glass receptacle. Place one drop of red and one drop of blue food coloring in the jar as well.
Making sure you’re someplace where you won’t mind making a mess, pour the vinegar in the jar over all of it until covered. As the cubes froth and dissolve, say:
What was solid now bubbles and flows. Blessings arise, problem goes.
Pour more vinegar as needed if you’d like to speed the dissolving process, enjoying the appearance of the purple froth. Continue until all the ice is transformed. Then rinse and clean everything as needed.
