I was remembering my college days and entering the fashion-beauty industry. I was fresh, young, brave. At times I wonder where this girl went. I’ve become a wife, a mother, a career woman. Recently I posted about my daughter leaving the nest, and before that about my parents passing away, and starting over in my career. I’ve been clearing, cleaning, and journaling. It’s been therapeutic. Everyone around me is amazed that they have never seen me cry or express sadness. I’ve expressed it in my writings, or alone in nature. I’ve chosen to keep moving forward, playing my silly “what if” game with my husband. I’ve chosen to sing and dance to my kitties and plants. I’ve chosen to let go of any expectations and just be. Career wise I am struggling to build a new business and survive in this internet age. I even dreamed I was back in beauty school mentoring the new students. The funny part about the dream was me being a silly teacher, showing the way with laughter.
