Daily Front Door Ritual for Wealth

Money magic can be easy. Call more abundance into your life by establishing the habit of this simple-but-powerful everyday wealth ritual.

Your front door is of paramount importance when it comes to drawing blessings and abundance into your life.

In feng shui, it’s known as “the mouth of chi,” which means the place where life force energy flows into your home from the outside world. If you live in a house, we are talking about the front door as intended by the architect, not another door that you just happen to use more than your front door. If you live in an apartment, dorm room, or rented room, we are talking about the main door to your personal space – the door that opens up to your apartment or room.

This quick and simple ritual is something I do daily, and if you want to draw more money into your life, I recommend that you do it too. (I’ve altered it, but I originally adapted it from an affirmation and ritual I originally read in the excellent book, The Female Archangels by Calista.)

Not only is it one of the most powerful money spells I know, it’s also the easiest. And it’s fun.

Prepare for the Ritual

Before performing this money ritual, make sure your front door’s range of motion is not obstructed by anything behind it or anything hanging on it. When you can open it as far as it can possibly go, you are demonstrating to the universe that you are as open to blessings and wealth as you can possibly be.

It’s also ideal if your front door doesn’t stick or squeak, as these conditions will represent annoyances or blocks. So repair it and grease it as necessary.

You may also want to clean your front door and otherwise freshen it up as needed, perhaps with a new doormat, a healthy plant, some wind chimes, lighting, or shiny new address numbers. Keeping the energy bright in this area will positively affect your wealth.

Now you’re all set to perform this wealth ritual.

Perform the ritual

You can begin doing this ritual at any time that feels right. Then continue it once a day for at least a full moon cycle. (That’s about 29.5 days or new moon to new moon or full moon to full moon.)

Begin by opening your door as far as it will go. Stand at the threshold so you’re half in and half out of your home, facing out. Open your arms, look out at the world, and say:

I awaken, activate, and align to the vibration of prosperity within myself and my life. I am a master manifester and I now invite in my endless good.

Next, step just outside your door and repeat the affirmation. Finally, step just inside the door and repeat the affirmation one more time. Each time, feel that you are inviting the energy of money into your home. Feel wealthy and smile.

(If you want to do the ritual but you’re worried about what the neighbors will think, you can just think the affirmation instead of saying it about and behave as if you’re just stepping out for a minute to get a feel for the weather.)

Stick to it for at least a moon cycle and see what happens. Expect windfalls and lucky breaks that cause an abundance of money to flow in. Go ahead and continue doing it daily if you’d like.
